Aces Up! Cincinnati Serves its Way Past Wyoming, 3-1

9/5/2008 - Behind 16 service aces, the University of Cincinnati's volleyball team rallied for a four-set win over Wyoming (17-25, 25-9, 25-18, 25-14) in its opening match of the Honolulu Advertiser Volleyball Challenge Thursday evening. Wyoming (0-4) hit .409 in the first set, but Cincinnati (4-0) forced the Cowgirls into a .005 hitting percentage for the remainder of the match. (more)

Volleyball Begins Two-Week Road Trip in Hawai'i

9/3/2008 - Following a weekend where the Bearcats defeated Wright State (3-0), Tennesse Tech (3-1) and Marshall (3-0) for the 2008 State Farm Bearcats Invitational crown, Cincinnati begins a two-week road trip beginning with three matches in Hawai'i at the Honolulu Advertiser Volleyball Challenge. Cincinnati Downs Marshall, 3-0; Earns State Farm Bearcats Invitational Crown

8/31/2008 - The University of Cincinnati's volleyball team earned the 2008 State Farm Bearcats Invtitational crown after defeating Marshall University in three sets Sunday afternoon in Fifth Third Arena. Sophomore Stephanie Niemer (Erlanger, Ky./St. Henry) led Cincinnati (3-0) with 17 kills en route to earning Tournament MVP honors. (more)
